Class 37/4 37427 EWS Picture Gallery, With 10ton EWS coal wagon rake

I am so over the moon that i got my first class 37 in EWS livery, I got this little model for £25 as seems that it had a problem with screaming at high speed. But a little bit of model oil on the drive shaft saw to that!

This is my favorited picture of my EWS Class 37

Old Hornby and Lima 35ton Tankers, made new and then used

I wanted to have a rake of 35ton tankers, so I attended my local Exhibition in Mansfield (viewed a lot of nice layouts.) But I went round alot of trade stalls and found 3X 35ton tankers in the Texaco red 35ton tankers. well they looked a bit dated and missing the ladders on a few of them. But I decided to make them a bit more uniform. So I stripped them down and filled them with No-More Nails to weigh them down and added some BP Logos.

Then I decided to add some weathering to them with a bit of poster paint (black) to make the impression of being used for diesel. They are still not finished but i still think they look not too bad. And a good first time attempt.

Boddington Parish Church Garden, A Metcaf Model

When I saw the Metcaf Parish Church advertised I had to have one, I picked it up mine at the New Years day 2011 Newark Collectors Fair. A great event even better now that I got a church to build during my time off at this time of year.
