Fosters Rail Scrapyard, at Boddington
This is a great part of my layout, it was one of the first features that i had in mind when i laid the track. You will see when not being used the “Breakdown” train is parked in the siding. it has Volvo high loader that works in the yard. I am still working on this part of the layout, but i will keep posting pictures as i continue to improve this feature.
What’s Going on at Rambler’s Corner
Well this is one of the most finished bits of the “Boddington” Layout, it is a bit of the old disused “Ramblers” branch Line. It Is based around a scrap bit of Hornby OO radial track, surrounded by matchstick fencing. The track is ballasted with more coarse ballast than the layout working track. As you see it has grown lots of weeds and a tree. Also I really enjoyed making the path for county walkers.
